Educational Classes Monthly Presentation

March Hands-on Field Trip on March 13th @ 6PM @ Bob Frisbee’s

The Cherokee Bee Club would like to get feedback on a possible plan to get volunteers to host on-going events as a replacement for regular monthly Moose Lodge Meetings. Please reply to BJ Weeks @ weeksworks@gmail.com with your thoughts or if you would like to host an event at your location.

**** There will be no regular meeting of the Cherokee Beekeepers Club at the Canton Moose Lodge for the month of March.**** Instead, we will have a hands-on field trip to the bee yard of Bob Frisbee, 549 East Cherokee Court, Woodstock. 6:00-7:00pm on Thursday March 13.

Follow to the gravel driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac and take the lower driveway to the steel building where you will park.

The bee yard is located at the rear of the steel building.

This workshop will focus on understanding  early spring management of bees.

Topics covered will be expanding, feeding, and preparing to make splits. Making healthy and strong splits allows the replacement of losses

or expansion and increasing honey production. As always, the health and wellbeing of the bees will also be considered.

Note: Bob has 100% survival of his 6 hives.

Please  email weeksworks@gmail.com if you plan to attend this event to RSVP.
